Retaining Wall
This is a collaborative art piece by Lawly and the homeowner, Karen.
Karen had a vision for the retaining wall outside her house. She wanted to decorate it with a whimsical wave of organic shapes containing tiny cameo scenes of natural wonders, in the color scheme of purple, gold and green.
Lawly provided technical guidance in the selection of materials, cutting of art glass, assembly of the tiled shapes, and attachment of the art to the wall.
Karen and Lawly worked together to design and assemble the various leaf-like shapes that make up this mosaic mural.
Approximately half the shapes here are by Karen the other half are by Lawly. The two artists’ styles playfully coexist in this one colorful wave of sparkling materials that brightens up the front of Karen’s home through all seasons!
